Monopolies
struggle
making everything.
I pursue progress
to realize hope,
unlocking something better
in myself
to unite with.

Struggles
for quality
can vary with time
Evolution of climate
can bring needs
as well as necessity
for greener peace

Making everything
is hard independence.
Instead, what footprint
can you imagine left
if you did do it all?
If one made solar panels
and computer networks?
Where's everything
coming from
where's it all go?

To pursue progress,
we have to think globally.
If 1000 people do the same,
what impact?

Realizing hope
nestles in the grassroot
movements,
Would you want to act locally?
When?

Unlocking something better
is daring to dream success.
Dare to dream better,
stop addictions to oil.

Myself,
I dream of fuel cells,
of algae biodiesal,
and waste water powerplants.
Maybe hydrogen cars
with hyperbaric tanks
stopping at solar powered
filling stations
will eliminate sprawling
tar sands and toxic beaches
and wars for oil, wars for oil
in these five minutes
to midnight.
The same five minutes
that have lasted 50 years,
are probably stretching thinner.

United,
we need
to imagine
7 billion people
acting locally,
daring to dream success-
in the last five minutes.
