The More I Seek the More I Find

Tangled,
I might have crawled
these trails
to teach lessons
by torchlight
in winter months

We might have crawled
through leaves together
to warm hearts'
embrace of life
as society itself crawls, too
through passing ages of ingenuity
and acceptance

these trails grow
as magic grows
by acts of man
and by Nature
or industry
perhaps markets-
beating a path to your door
binding the light of upsight
to you-
and your mores

Teaching us lessons
are lives
each person a book
with depth of remembrance
and covers to protect
our industry and nature
leading mankind to markets

Torchlight
like beer
has led shifts
in consciousness
and probably
saved the world
a time or two
I reckon.

In winter months
We warm hearts
passing ages
as magic grows
binding light
to societal mores
of industry and nature
of mankind and markets
causing shifts to conscience
reckonings'
